Yuvvraaj has been shot in various picturesque location of Europe, Mumbai etc.
American Jacob "Coby" Hadas makes his Bollywood debut with a small part in this film.
The film was originally titled "Main Yuvraaj" and then just "Yuvraaj" and finally "Yuvvraaj".
Ghai had a deal with Eros International for three films, worth Rs 75 crores. But due to some differences Ghai moved out, and sold the domestic theatrical rights of Yuvvraaj to Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision for Rs 40 crores, making a straight profit of Rs 10 crore on his film made on a budget of Rs 30 crores.
Subhash Ghai had to preponed the date to November 21 due to the Champions League being held in December.
